HabiStays helps independent furnished-stay hosts manage bookings, payments, extensions, and guest communication — including guests you already find through Furnished Finder, referrals, Facebook, or your own network.

Publish your first eligible HabiStays listing and successfully process your first guest payment through HabiStays within 90 days to permanently lock in your 7% Founding Host platform rate.
Creating a reservation or adding a stay to your HabiStays calendar does not by itself qualify. A real guest payment must actually be processed through HabiStays.
Payment-processing fees, taxes, government-imposed charges, and other third-party fees are separate.

What does the 7% cover?
The 7% is HabiStays' platform fee — the fee for using HabiStays to facilitate and manage the booking. It is separate from the fee charged by the third-party payment processor to actually process the guest's payment.
Third-party payment-processing fees apply separately. For many common U.S. payment methods, these fees are currently roughly 1%–3%, depending on the payment method and transaction, although some transactions may cost more.
Taxes, government-imposed charges, regulatory assessments, and other third-party fees are also separate. Optional products or services that HabiStays may offer separately in the future are not automatically included in the Founding Host platform fee.

Bring your own guests
You do not need HabiStays to originate the lead. If you already find guests through Furnished Finder, referrals, Facebook groups, your own website, or other sources, you can still use HabiStays — including Payment Management — to run the stay, message the guest, and handle extensions when plans change. Marketplace bookings that pay through HabiStays also count. Adding a stay to your calendar alone is not enough.
HabiStays supports calendar import and syncing with other booking platforms using calendar feeds, helping you keep availability coordinated across the places where you list. Direct platform/API integrations may vary by service.

Why this exists
HabiStays was built from the perspective of an experienced host who wanted more control over guest relationships, reservations, payments, extensions, communication, and day-to-day operations — without giving away the guest relationship just to get paid.
